Food And Nutrition Host-Hostess II

Responsible for preparing, delivering, and picking up patient trays, communicating menu preferences, delivering nourishments, and maintaining floor supplies. Serves as the primary liaison between patients and food service operations to maximize patient meal satisfaction while practicing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provides meal service to patients.
• Assists patients with verbal meal selections in accordance with current nutrition care orders.
• Communicates food preferences from patients to the food service department to ensure satisfaction.
• Performs minor food preparation and portioning tasks following departmental policy.
• Transports patient trays and ensures timely delivery.
• Works collaboratively with patients, families, nursing, and food service support teams.

Requirements

• Less than one year of experience required.

Pay

$17.00 to $22.59 per hour, based on experience.
