Food and Event Delivery Driver - State CollegePart-time

About the role

We are in need of a part-time delivery driver to take food from Roots and deliver to our customers. This involves more than just transporting orders—sometimes you will set up food at the delivery location, carry heavy items (up to 30 lbs) through buildings, and navigate elevators and hallways. You will need constant access to email and a working phone, and you’ll interact with customers both by phone and in person, representing Roots.

Please note this is a contracted position, not a position of employment.

Pay

Expected pay: average $40+ per delivery.

Schedule

• Approximately 5 hours per week for the first month or two, growing to 10 hours per week over the next 6 months if you choose to take on additional time.
• Must have a very flexible schedule: orders are emailed by 8:30 AM for the entire day, with general availability required between 10 AM – 7 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must have a driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable car.
• Must have access to email and a working phone at all times.
