Food and Event Delivery Driver - McKnightPart-time

We believe that great food can fuel any lifestyle—whether you choose to participate in a Netflix marathon or an actual marathon.

We are in need of a part-time delivery driver to take food from Roots and deliver to our customers. This is much more than just grabbing a pizza and dropping it at a front door. Sometimes there will be set up of the food involved. Sometimes you will be carrying a 30lb box down a hall, up an elevator, and down another hall. You will need to have access to an email and a working phone at all times. You'll be interacting with our customers via phone and in person—making you a face of Roots.

Please note this is a contracted position, not a position of employment.

Schedule

• General availability between 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., Monday–Friday required
• Orders are distributed by email by 8:30 a.m. for the entire day
• Approximately 5 hours per week for the first month or two, growing to 10 hours per week over the next 6 months

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Current car insurance
• Reliable car
• Access to email and a working phone at all times

Pay

Expected pay: average $40+ per delivery
