About The Role Recess Hotel & Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our Food & Beverage leadership team and support the daily operations of our restaurants, bars, and event spaces. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional looking to advance their leadership career while gaining experience in a dynamic luxury hotel environment. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will assist in leading daily service operations, supporting team development, maintaining service standards, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all Food & Beverage outlets. This position works closely with managers and frontline team members to drive operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team engagement. What You'll Do Supervise day-to-day service operations across assigned food and beverage outletsLead by example on the floor, providing active support during service periodsEnsure service standards, brand expectations, and safety guidelines are consistently metSupport staffing needs, including shift coverage, break compliance, and schedule adherenceCoach and develop team members through real-time feedback and ongoing trainingAssist with onboarding and training of new hiresAddress guest concerns professionally and resolve service issues in the momentPartner with managers on service execution, menu knowledge, and operational flowMonitor cleanliness, organization, and overall readiness of service areasSupport inventory controls, opening/closing procedures, and cash handling as needed Qualifications Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality leadership preferredStrong service mindset with a genuine interest in guest experienceConfident communicator who leads with clarity, warmth, and accountabilityWorking knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handlingStrong guest service instincts and the confidence to lead from the floorPositive, approachable leadership style with the ability to coach and motivate othersStrong communication, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to remain composed and engaged in a fast-paced service environmentWillingness to learn, accept feedback, and take on increasing responsibilityFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Recess?
