Food and Beverage Senior Course Writer

About the role

360training.com is a rapidly growing leader in online and live training, providing regulated training necessary for job success across various industries and professions. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SVP of Content and Development and other key product and regulatory management personnel to assess and align resources for new course development initiatives.
• Act as de facto Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all food and controlled substance development initiatives.
• Hire and manage external SME resources to complete regulatory updates and new courses, as needed.
• Work alongside 360's course developers, graphic and media designers to produce user-ready digital courses.
• Ensure that all courses meet regulatory requirements, best practices standards for inclusive adult learning, and 360's internal standards for eLearning courses.
• Support 360's regulatory compliance team to ensure all regulatory curatives are addressed and approved in a timely manner.
• Contribute to curriculum development and regulatory update efforts as both a writer and SME.
• Review customer course feedback on a weekly basis to ensure that reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Monitor KPI data for 360's courses, including exam pass rates, course evaluation scores, and course abandonment rates.
• Conduct in-depth competitor and market analysis to identify potential acquisition and market expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years practical, hands-on experience within the food and beverage industry as a writer or instructor (online or classroom).
• Familiarity with ANSI and ANAB standards and practices.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize with high attention to detail.
• Exceptional writing and editorial skills.
• Experience with eLearning content authoring tools (Articulate 360 experience preferred, but not required).
• MS Office Suite of products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience.
• Experience using AI tools to research, generate, edit, and refine training content and instructional materials.

Skills

• Fluency in Spanish (a plus).
