Responsibilities
- Helps manage the day-to-day operations of all hotel food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
- Lead service during meal periods by actively managing the dining room, assisting team members, and interacting with guests.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, food safety regulations, and health department requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly resolve service concerns to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Recruit, train, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, menu updates, promotions, and service expectations.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
- Aid in performance evaluations, coaching, recognition, and corrective action as needed.
- Help develop and execute promotions, special events, holiday offerings, and seasonal menus that increase outlet traffic and revenue.
- Work with the Shula’s Team to promote restaurant events and community engagement.
- Assist in developing social media content, marketing ideas, and local partnerships to increase visibility of the restaurant and lounge.
- Monitor guest reviews and online reputation, responding appropriately and implementing improvements when needed.
- Create memorable experiences that encourage repeat business from both hotel guests and local patrons.
- Aid the Director of Food & Beverage in achieving revenue, labor, and profitability goals.
- Monitor daily sales, labor costs, and operational expenses.
- Aid in inventory counts, ordering, receiving, and maintaining appropriate stock levels for outlet supplies.
- Prepare reports and complete administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–4 years of progressive Food & Beverage supervisory or management experience in a full-service hotel, restaurant, or resort.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing team members.
- Excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while actively managing the floor.
- Hilton brand experience preferred.
- Hotel or conference center food and beverage experience preferred.
- Experience with restaurant promotions, marketing initiatives, and community engagement preferred.
- Knowledge of Micros, POS systems, and Microsoft Office.
- ServSafe Food Manager Certification and alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain after hire).
