Food and Beverage Manager

About the role

Oversee and influence the service and culture of our dining operations. As a passionate, creative and energetic leader, ensure an excellent guest experience by directing, implementing and maintaining service standards and motivating and guiding members of the team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an excellent guest experience by directing, implementing and maintaining service standards.
• Motivate and guide members of the team.
• Perform mental activities such as learning, thinking, following instructions, concentrating, interacting with others, handling stressful situations, self control, attention to detail and be reliable.
• Have advanced knowledge of wine and pairing of wine and food.
• Ability to step into any restaurant outlet and be effective.
• Understand basic food cost and payroll cost control.
• Understands Micros System.
• Be able to train individuals and select the appropriate training to maximize the value.
• Follow instructions and direction by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Two years’ experience in managing food and beverage operations.
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• A high school education is preferred.

Qualifications
