About the role

This position involves preparing and serving a variety of short order fast food items, coordinating food and beverage needs for special events, and performing cashier duties in the snack bar.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and serves hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, and other fast food items.
  • Serves as cashier in the snack bar, accepting cash or credit card payments.
  • Completes cash reports at the end of each shift.
  • Cuts lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and other vegetables for sandwiches, salads, and pizzas.
  • Cleans tables, work surfaces, walls, floors, and other areas as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
  • Background check and medical examination required.
  • Initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 4 hours annual refresher training on food sanitation and safety.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds and work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements if serving alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications

  • Two-page resume required.
  • Relevant experience and knowledge in food preparation and handling.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of basic sanitation principles.
  • Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
