Snack Bar Attendant

Responsibilities

• Assist members and guests in food and beverage selection
• Relay orders to kitchen or prepare food directly
• Identify and enter special requests into the register
• Deliver orders to members and guests with appropriate accompaniments or garnishes
• Maintain attractive food displays and clean tables, counters, dishes, chairs, floors and equipment
• Package take-out orders as needed
• Serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
• Process sales through the Point-of-Sale system
• Ensure orders meet proper presentation and quality standards
• Manage cash and balance register at the end of each shift
• Inform management of supply shortages and upcoming events
• Afford assistance in training other snack bar attendants
• Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or over to sell and make alcoholic beverages
• Must have current food handler's and responsible beverage service certificates
• Experience handling cash and credit card transactions
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, perform multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently
• Knowledge of applicable liquor laws, procedures and policies
• Ability to determine signs of intoxication
• Knowledge of proper food preparation, storage, and sanitation requirements

Pay

$16.90 per hour
