Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of tasks in a kitchen or dining area following established procedures, including several steps or sequences of tasks that require attention to work operations.
- Operates a cash register.
- Cleans kitchen utensils, pots, pans, storage containers, and sweeps and mops the floor.
- May operate a beverage (alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic) cart on the golf course, working independently, including loading and unloading the beverage cart in accordance with set standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- Must meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service (www.sss.gov).
- Work hours may involve weekends, weekdays, holidays, and night duty.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment, with a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Must meet state/local age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages at the time of appointment, if applicable.
- Certificate of Medical Examination required.
- Must be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications
- Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
- Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English and possess basic math skills.

Pay
This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week — whichever provides the greater benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible for extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
