Duties & Responsibilities
- Assignment as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for processing required travel documentation.
- Developing and submitting division quarterly and yearly travel forecasts.
- Reporting travel in the SAMD SharePoint Schedule of Events (SoE) and OCONUS Boots on Ground (BOG) report to SAMD weekly.
- Coinciding with SAMD and US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) travel POCs.
- Coinciding and tracking submissions of travel packets to ensure they are approved prior to travel departure.
- Verifying travel packets are completed—to include authorizations and vouchers.
- Coinciding with the primary SAMD security POCs who support Apache, Cargo, Nonstandard, Utility, and AMCOM security efforts for travel requirements.
- Conducting specific country related briefings.
- Processing travel clearance requests and coordinating APACS requirements in support of programmed travel for the Aviation Division.
- As required, assist with the development of briefing material in support of travel reporting.
- As required, Manage data/metrics from the Common Operating Picture (COP) and Case Management Analyzer (CMA), create reports and send the information to leadership/supervisors and team leads.
- Assuming alternate duty as the Aviation Division’s Security POC.
Minimum Experience
- 3 years’ experience in FMS or job-related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
