Job Description Summary
Manages FMLA leave administration, communicates with employees, advises on leave laws, oversees return to work, manages other leave requests, and supports strategic initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
- Administers FMLA leave from initial notice to return to work
- Communicates with employees about leave needs, responsibilities, and documentation
- Determines leave eligibility and distributes necessary paperwork
- Requests medical certification and monitors leave use
- Facilitates communication between managers and employees during leave
- Manages return-to-work process for extended FMLA, military, or other leave
- Manages accommodation requests and intermittent leave under the ADA
- Collaborates with disability providers and stakeholders
- Supports change management, training, and communications
- Supports strategic efforts like automation, acquisitions, and technology solutions
- Identifies trends and makes recommendations for process improvements
- Maintains records and ensures compliance with legal requirements
- Prepares leave metrics and participates in year-end activities
- Analyzes data and recommends improvements for operational effectiveness
- Coordinates with Leave Manager and other leaders as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of leave administration or related experience
- Extensive knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Effective communication and service skills
- Experience with Workday (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform in extreme weather conditions

Base Pay Range
$64,790.00 - 89,086.80
Length of Service Awards
You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date.
