Flushing Technician Weekend shift
About the role
Hayden Industrial, a leading manufacturer of industrial cooling systems, is seeking a Flushing Technician to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position is responsible for flushing heat exchangers with oil or water to the desired customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Clean units of all internal debris using a flushing machine.
- Familiar with hooking up hoses with various couplings and connecting devices.
- Record all data using flow gauges.
- Read and interpret instructions and diagrams (blueprints).
- Read and follow various specifications for flushing.
- Follow schedule and report completions.
- Follow company policies and safety programs.
- Perform pressure tests in water and oil.
This position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill”).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and blueprints required.
- Experience with hand tools, forklifts, and cranes is required.
- Prior flushing experience preferred.
Work Environment
Non-temperature-controlled environment with loud noises, dust, dirt, and metal particles typically associated with metal fabrication shops. All employees are required to wear personal protective equipment, including noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, paint masks or respirators (when required), and OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes within the manufacturing facility.

- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time.
- Requires walking, reaching, ascending/descending ladders, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Friday through Sunday, 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
