Floral Manager
Daily Operations
Provide exceptional service to all clientele.
Design skills are required.
Schedule and train team members properly and thoroughly to ensure exceptional service, answering all their questions while encouraging them.
Provide a clean, attractive, and inviting atmosphere for customers.
Follow merchandising plans, control inventory and shrink, maximize sales, and order for the floral department.
Establish a cleaning program for the display cases.
Complete all necessary reports, inventories, and attain sales, labor, and gross profit projections.
Company Standards
Ensure all safety, sanitation, and security policies, compliance of governmental weights, measures, laws and health department regulations.
Maintain knowledge of and maintain training in Floral.
Maintain clear communication with other departments.
Comply with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag.
Basic Functions And Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
Must have dexterous use of both hands.
Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.
This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
