Floral Assistant, The American Club

Specific Responsibilities

• Assist and support in the day to day operations of the Department
• Support the installation of ‘Christmas’ across the resort
• Avoids the installation of ‘Christmas’ alongside Senior Design Team
• Oversee ancillary rental inventory
• Pulling items, checking them out and counting them to ensure all are returned
• Minor maintenance of rental items
• Paint touch-ups
• Order replacement items
• Complete hands-on department responsibilities
• Floral bucket washing and storage
• Flower processing and Stem cleaning
• Laundering of department items
• Removal of garbage
• Resort watering
• Perform guest facing tasks
• Answer department calls
• Complete deliveries to outlet businesses and department orders
• Aid in guest room plant watering
• Perform other duties as needed.

Skills/Requirements

• Must have a Valid Drivers License
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to take direction and work independently

Physical Requirements

• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, and stoop or kneel.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This is a casual, part-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Qualifications

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Pay

The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location. The hourly range for this position is $13.00 - $19.50.

Schedule

Shifts vary between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
