Floor Technician (Floor Tech)

As a Floor Technician, you will work with the housekeeping and laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility.

Responsibilities

• Taking out the trash
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces
• Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces
• Cross-training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise
• Assisting with room moves of residents
• Assisting with discharge cleaning of residents’ rooms, including boxing items and moving furniture
• Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
• Minimal maintenance responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• 1 year of experience (preferred)
• Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a team environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, critical thinking skills, flexibility, and dependability
