Floor Technician

About the role

An opportunity exists on our highly accomplished housekeeping team for a Floor Technician. The selected candidate will operate standard housekeeping equipment to perform routine carpet and hard surface floor restoration and maintenance in the community's common areas, perform minor repairs as needed, and clean common areas of the community.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine carpet and hard surface floor restoration and maintenance in common areas
• Perform minor repairs on an as-needed basis
• Clean common areas of the community
• Operate and maintain standard housekeeping equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in floor care, housekeeping, or janitorial work in a Hospitality, Healthcare, Environmental Services, or Senior Living Environment (preferred)
• Valid and current driver’s license, where applicable
• Demonstrated skill in operating and maintaining equipment
• Knowledge of floor care procedures
• Skill with chemical solution and dilution ratios
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process

Pay

USD $17.06 - USD $20.01 per hour
