Schedule & Location
Fort Lauderdale: Three (3) weeks per month from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM (warehouse-based). One (1) week per month (urgent care): 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (warehouse-based). Occasional open schedule shifts on weekends (Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Experience in waxing and stripping floors
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of all floors, tile, and carpets
- Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure
- Always observe safety precautions
- Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reports on safety hazards as appropriate
- Adhere to dress code such wearing company uniform
- Report to work in a timely manner
- Always represent the organization in a positive and professional manner
- Comply with all company policies and standard procedures
- Communicate the mission, ethics and goals of our organization
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of floor technician experience
- Flexible availability (days, weekends, on call)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Must always maintain a strong awareness of safety and proactive leadership approach
- Must be able to pass a Background Check
- Must be able to pass Drug Test
- Bilingual English & Spanish preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be in good physical condition and able to comfortably perform extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting
- Ability to lift, carry, and move 25 pounds or more on a regular basis
- Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks
