Ideal Candidate Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year experience in floor care
- Knowledge of how to strip, wax, and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance
- Knowledge and experience operating various pieces of equipment such as high-speed buffers, extractors, wet vacs, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers
- Janitorial or laborer experience in a facility setting is preferred
- Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
Key Accountabilities
- Perform preventative maintenance checks on all equipment before use
- Before beginning work, secure the work area and post safety notices for other space users
- Floors care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells
- Vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, and extracting carpets, stairwells, and upholstery
- Wall cleaning
- Dusting (high and low)
- Routine restroom cleaning
- Routine office and break room cleaning
- Maintenance of floor care equipment
