Qualifications

• Ability to provide motivation and leadership to associates storewide in a fair and impartial manner
• Able to stand for an extended period of time
• Able to walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties
• Move and handle merchandise and fixtures up to 40 pounds
• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Able and willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Execute the daily operational, and day-to-day goals and priorities, and assign duties to the department team
• Accountable for assigned departmental integrity and continuous utilization of personnel
• Ensure the department is front, faced and the product is pulled down from top stock
• Ensure department floors, shelves, and overstocks are labeled, clean, and safe
• Assist in planning for sales and major holiday or promotional events (i.e. Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.)
• Assist in training and developing store staff with goals for growth and success in their departments
• Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly
