Floor Supervisor

About the role

Our next full-time Floor Supervisor will provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer services to our patients. Floor Supervisors assist our patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations through the process of product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.

You will be challenged to work tactically to service our patients with care and efficiency while also serving as a Leader on Duty (LOD). Responsibilities include opening the store, prepping staff, training new employees on our POS system and eCommerce platform, and assisting patients with product usage questions. Strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence (EQ) are critical as you’ll work within a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, professional customer service to patients and caregivers
• Assist with cannabis product recommendations, including effects, potency, dosing, and consumption methods
• Serve as Leader on Duty (LOD), managing store operations and staff
• Open the store and prepare staff for daily operations
• Train new employees on POS system and eCommerce platform
• Address patient questions regarding product usage
• Maintain strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence in a diverse team environment

Requirements

• Must meet state age requirements as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission
• At least one (1) year of customer service, retail, or related experience (preferred)
• Cannabis experience is a plus
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs
• Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods of time
• Able to handle cash or card transactions using an electronic processing system

Location

This position is on-site at our Parkville, MD dispensary. Our hours of operation are 9 AM – 9 PM, 7 days per week.
