Floor Supervisor

About the role

Our next full-time Floor Supervisor will provide compassionate, friendly, and professional customer services to our patients. Floor Supervisors assist our patients and caregivers with cannabis recommendations through the process of product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.

You will be challenged to work tactically to service our patients with care and efficiency while also serving as a Leader on Duty (LOD). Tasks may include opening the store, prepping staff, training new employees on our POS system and eCommerce platform, and assisting patients with product usage questions. Strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence (EQ) are critical as you’ll work within a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, professional customer service to patients and caregivers.
• Assist with cannabis recommendations, including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, and methods of consumption.
• Serve as Leader on Duty (LOD), managing store operations and staff.
• Train new employees on POS systems and eCommerce platforms.
• Maintain strong situational awareness and emotional intelligence in a diverse team environment.

Requirements

• Must meet state age requirements as determined by the Department of Health or State Regulatory Commission.
• At least one (1) year of customer service, retail, or related experience (preferred).
• Cannabis experience is a plus.
• Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, and/or walking for extended periods.
• Able to handle cash or card transactions using an electronic processing system.

Location

This position will be on-site in our Parkville, MD dispensary. Our hours of operation are 9am - 9pm, 7 days per week.
