Floor Lead

Role and Responsibilities

• Helps all employees and customers to navigate compliance procedures, cash and debit sale transactions, and employee management.
• Builds exceptional relationships with all employees and customers.
• Speaks confidently about store inventory to employees and customers.
• Works as part of a team, available across various shifts including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintains CRA compliance by following state and federal rules and regulations related to cannabis sales in Michigan.
• Trained in Metrc (a cannabis tracking system).
• Experienced in cash handling.
• Adapts to each employee's and customer's needs to provide trusted transactions.
• Provides exceptional customer service, excellent communication skills, and performs routine daily tasks with close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Keeps a steady flow of traffic for curbside, online orders, and walk-in customers, coordinating with receptionists, intakes, cashiers, fulfillment, and managers.
• Maintains cleanliness throughout the building by completing a daily cleaning checklist.
• Radiates positive energy, builds strong connections with people, is enthusiastic, outgoing, and courteous.
• Understands all positions to ensure employees are following guidelines and daily tasks.
• Reports all daily issues and changes to upper management to take appropriate action.

Position Type / Expected Hours Of Work

• Full-Time position
• Typical hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 9:00AM - 9:00PM (hours may vary)
• Occasional overtime as needed

Must be 21 years of age (state requirement).

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in retail
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Exceptional customer service standards
