Floor Care Technician

About the role

As a Floor Tech at Vonachen Group, you will be responsible for all aspects of floor care using the latest custodial equipment to provide high-quality service levels while adhering to company policies and assisting in maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires energy, enthusiasm, and strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and uphold a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform general floor care activities such as dust and wet mopping, scrubbing and buffing, vacuuming, and bonnet cleaning.
• Conduct periodic floor care activities including scrub and wax, strip and wax, vacuum and extract, and pressure washing.
• Manage and maintain floor equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate activities between customers and the company.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a changing work plan.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of experience in all aspects of floor care preferred.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Repeat the same movements frequently.
• Frequent bending and twisting.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and possible overnights for special projects.

Schedule

Two full-time positions available on 1st and 2nd shifts:

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM or 4:00 PM–10:00 PM.
• Must have weekend availability.

Pay

$17.50 per hour. Now offering Daily Pay!
