Floater Leader Production

Job Summary

The Leader Production oversees the production floor to ensure efficient operation. Ensures the on-time production of quality products while handling the daily supervision of the plant personnel. Recommends new procedures and sequences to improve quality and quantity and to reduce production costs.

Essential functions of the job

• Ensure necessary manpower, equipment and components are available to meet customer demand.
• Review prior shift pass down to prioritize actions needed to fulfill production requirements.
• Cook up daily staff meeting to discuss current production status, past issues and upcoming activities.
• Compile KPI data for daily management review.
• Monitor current running status and open issues throughout the day.
• Train and develop Supervisors and manage the Performance Review process and their career development.
• Review and/or complete end of shift report and distribute to manager and appropriate personnel.
• Cook up Scrap review meetings with Supervisors and support functions.
• Participate in staff selection and recruitment process.
• Perform Daily Operator efficiency reviews and provide root cause of any issues.
• Participate in LPA audits.
• Audit and enforce 5S standards.

Required Education

Bachelor's Level Degree Business Administration, Engineering or similar. *Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
