The Production Floater will coordinate with the supervisor to determine job functions for the day and step into various roles such as those in the annealing department, shipping department, and machine operating.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervisor to determine job functions for the day
• Step into various roles within operations, including annealing department, shipping department, and machine operating
• Supervise wire drawing machines and keep them supplied with proper carriers
• Perform plant housekeeping duties
• Fill propane, operate and inspect sweeper, dump lube barrels, dispose of garbage, dump scrap hoppers, and practice good safety techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned
