Duties
- Prepare finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, and securing products
- Transport materials between loading docks, trucks, and storage areas
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments, including raw materials and dunnage
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness prior to shipment
- Verify shipping documentation and ensure all special instructions are followed
- Support expedited shipments to meet customer and production schedules
- Track and maintain inventory through labelling, organization, and reporting shortages
- Maintain organized storage locations and ensure adherence to inventory control practices
- Provide flexible support to production areas based on business needs, including:
- Making manufacturing or assembly tasks
- Packaging finished goods
- Performing quality inspections
- Aiding in the operation of production equipment and basic troubleshooting
- Applying finishing elements such as labels or graphics to products
- Following all safety procedures and promoting a safety-first culture
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Certification
- Experience in shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Knowledge of general use of hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license
