Floater Assistant Produce Manager

Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Smile, make eye contact and thank customers upon fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
• Assist the Produce Manager with daily operations including product merchandising, arrangements, displays, rotation and inventory levels.
• Order merchandise and supplies to meet department standards.
• Rotate and examine perishable products to ensure quality, code and condition.
• Accurately fulfill customer orders and deliveries.
• Maintain associates' adherence to sanitation and safety procedures.
• Maintain high levels of customer courtesy and service.
• Train and schedule associates in produce operations.
• Operate various produce equipment such as product weight scales and juice machines.
• Assume all responsibilities of the Produce Manager as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
