Float Registered Nurse

About the role

Provide high-acuity patient care on Med/Surg and Intermediate units, utilizing specialized training in progressive care to support complex patients. Serve as the central point of contact for clinical teams, ensuring seamless and coordinated recovery plans. Monitor patient safety, document care accurately, and adapt to hospital needs by delivering expert nursing support where high-acuity care is required.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi-state license
• BLS certification within 30 days
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (preferred)

Skills

Ideally, possess 3+ years of nursing experience with Med/Surg and progressive care training, including managing high-acuity cases and advanced treatments.
