Float Registered Nurse

About the role

This position involves providing high-acuity patient care on Intermediate and Med/Surg units, utilizing specialized training in progressive care to support complex patients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point for coordinating care across clinical disciplines
• Monitor patient safety
• Document care accurately
• Adapt support based on hospital needs

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi-state license
• BLS certification within one month of hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (preferred)

Skills

• Minimum three years of nursing experience
• Background in med/surg and progressive care
• Ability to manage high-acuity cases
