About the role

DaVita is seeking a Nurse to give life in an outpatient dialysis center. You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. A $9,000 retention bonus and relocation packages are available to qualified individuals.

Float to clinics in Terre Haute, Brazil, and Sullivan, IN. You must be comfortable working 3-4 days per week, 10-14 hours per shift with no on-call requirement.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with patients and their families in an outpatient setting.
• Be part of a supportive team environment.
• Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to conduct patient observations, measure stats, and set up machines.
• Work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• No dialysis experience is required—we provide paid on-the-job training for the first 10 weeks.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Indiana.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred. A three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for the nursing degree.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit, Critical Care Unit, Emergency Room, Medical Surgical, or dialysis experience is a plus.
