Float Registered Nurse

DaVita is seeking a Float Registered Nurse to provide care in an outpatient dialysis center, making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

About the role

• No dialysis experience is required; training will be provided and may take place in a facility or training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
• Float to various clinics during and after your training.
• Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Build long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
• Work as part of a supportive team in a positive environment.
• Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), conducting patient observations, measuring stats, and setting up machines.
• Work in a fast-paced environment using your head, heart, and hands daily.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.
• Three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for a nursing degree.
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) is helpful but not required.
