Float Regional Support Professional (Overnights & Mornings)
About the role
The Float Regional Support Professional (Direct Care) works overnight and morning shifts, traveling between up to 19 locations to provide person‑centered care for individuals with disabilities. The role combines daily‑living support with nursing‑related tasks such as medication administration, wound management, and hospice care, helping clients enjoy life through meal preparation, light exercise, transportation, social interaction, and housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Travel between sites and support up to 19 locations; weekend availability required.
- Work flexible mornings and evenings (5 am–10 pm) as needed, with frequent schedule changes.
- Assist individuals with disabilities in daily living activities: meal preparation, light exercise, local transportation, social interactions, and housekeeping.
- Build relationships and foster joyful, involved, and loved experiences for clients.
- Perform nursing‑related duties:
- Various routes of medication administration and implanted device management.
- Nursing assessments, monitoring, and triaging of health care.
- Care planning for individuals.
- Hospice implementation of care plans for individuals with less than six months to live.
- Wound management.
- Providing patient and caregiver education.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of direct‑care experience, OR
- 2 years of direct‑care experience plus a bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a Human Services field.
- Ability to travel between sites and willingness to support up to 19 locations.
- Weekend availability required.

Pay
$24.00 – $28.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and education). Sign‑on bonus: $650 after 6 months of employment and $1,450 after the first year.
Schedule
No set schedule; candidate must be willing to flex where needed. Schedule posted at the beginning of each pay period. Shift availability: Mornings 5 am–3 pm, Overnights 9 pm–8 am.
