Float Pool Nurse - Critical Care
Part-time float position with a rotating shift, requiring 60 hours in a 6-week schedule.
About the role
The Float Pool Nurse reports to the Director of Patient Placement Staffing and applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of med/surg/tele or med/stroke patients. Responsibilities include patient and family education and continuum of care planning.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree (MSN preferred)
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a Critical Care/ICU setting
- Must have availability to work 60 hours in a 6-week schedule
Pay
Pay range: $47.78 – $58.05 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary based on location.
