About the Role

The Registered Nurse Resource Pool provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, utilizing therapeutic communication and maintaining a safe environment. This role supports a comprehensive facility offering diverse medical services, with a focus on quality care and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and implement physician orders.
• Administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs.
• Document patient conditions and educate patients and families as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• When acting as charge nurse:
  • Oversee daily activities and assign staff based on acuity and skills.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and respond to requests promptly.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure from an accredited school.
• Valid Tennessee RN license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred 2+ years of clinical experience.
