Critical Care Float Pool Nurse

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Supports a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes, models proficiency through precepting, and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Performs top-of-scope nursing duties in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Supports specialty education and competency validation.
• Promotes wellness and patient-centered care.
• Engages in continuous learning and adheres to best practices and safety standards.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure.
• At least 6 months of ICU experience or completion of a fellowship.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (cards must be valid through sixty days of hire).
