Float Pool Caregiver (FT Weekends) - North Metro

Suite Living Senior Care is seeking qualified caregivers to join our Float Pool Staff. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and exposure to multiple communities in the Twin Cities area.

About the role

This position is responsible for providing personal care and delegated nursing services designed to maintain the clients' physical and emotional wellbeing. You will work at multiple locations in the region, rotating once per month and traveling to any Suite Living communities that need staffing support. You must be willing and able to travel to all locations, with reliable transportation required.

Current locations include: Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Ramsey, Roseville, Vadnais Heights, Little Canada, North St. Paul, West St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, Burnsville, Prior Lake, Shakopee, Spring Lake Park, Lakeville, Forest Lake, Eden Prairie, Rosemount, and Maple Grove.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares as identified in the assignment sheet or care plan, including dressing, grooming, oral care, bathing, lotion application, nail care, and redirection of confused clients.
• Assist residents with toileting, incontinence products, ambulation, and transfers using proper techniques and assistive devices.
• Assist residents with hearing aids, glasses, and medication reminders or administration as delegated by an RN.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration) and report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Notify RN of any complaints or concerns from residents or their families.
• Promote residents' independence by offering choices and fostering self-help skills.
• Provide socialization and companionship while performing assigned tasks and leading activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN or therapy tasks as assigned by a licensed health professional.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the LPN or RN.
• Document services accurately and complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Follow safety policies and report any concerns or injuries immediately to the LPN or RN.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver in a senior living or similar environment (CNA/NAR/RA/HHA). CNA preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and availability to travel to all Suite Living Senior Care locations in the North Metro or South Metro groups.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Schedule

Three 12-hour weekend shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
