Float Personal Banker

As a Float Personal Banker, you may assist at our branches including Golden Valley, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Coon Rapids, Minneapolis South, Eagan, and Eden Prairie. You are the frontline of Blaze and a trusted financial guide for Members. You’ll engage directly with members to understand their goals, identify their financial needs, and confidently recommend tailored products and services that empower their financial journey. You’ll be part of a dynamic, experienced team committed to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships. Your role is vital—not only in supporting our members’ success but also in driving Blaze’s growth and mission forward.

Blaze is pleased to offer a sign-on bonus for this position. New hires are eligible for $5,000 paid over two years, while candidates with Fiserv DNA experience are eligible for $5,500 paid over two years.

Responsibilities

• Educate members on how to optimize Blaze's services to meet their individual needs
• Perform duties and responsibilities related to opening and processing changes on the following account types: Savings, Checking, Certificate, Retirement, Legal, and Business Accounts
• Oversee consumer loan process following approved guidelines
• Create meaningful relationships via excellent service and face-to-face interaction
• Support your team by taking initiative to meet Blaze's growth objectives

Requirements

• Understanding of account opening, lending, and other financial products
• Comfortable having conversations and making recommendations

• Work well with others, even when things don’t go as planned
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment and can multi-task
• Minimum High School diploma or GED (required)
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in financial services, which includes opening new accounts, lending, and pipeline management
• Eligible to obtain a NMLS ID number within 30 days of hire
• Proven experience as a personal banker or equivalent; experience in sales and customer service is a plus

Schedule

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Saturday hours are paid at 1.5x the regular rate. Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $25.20 - $29.50 per hour, with quarterly team bonuses.
