Float Direct Support Professional

Location: A mix of multiple Winter Family Care licensed facilities

Status: Full-time (day shift or overnight shifts available)

About the role

At Winter Family Care, we believe every person deserves to live a life of dignity, independence, and respect. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities—empowering them to lead fulfilling lives in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills, community involvement, and personal goals.
• Assist with medication administration, hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Foster meaningful relationships and encourage independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards.
• Assist individuals with planning of daily activities and community outings by encouraging community integration.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• A compassionate, respectful, and dependable attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and clean background check (required for all roles)

Experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right individual(s).
