Float Direct Support Professional

AHL HealthCare Group is seeking extraordinary, kind, and compassionate Float Direct Support Professionals to act as advocates, supporters, educators, and caregivers to individuals with disabilities or mental illness. Float DSPs travel among our various programs, receive their schedule on a week-to-week basis, and fill in based on scheduling needs. This role includes higher compensation and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal cares, activities of daily living, grooming, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
• Demonstrating positive and supportive behavior with clients and coworkers
• Medication administration
• Documenting services provided daily in electronic records and computer systems
• Socializing with residents and doing activities with them
• Accompanying clients to appointments
• Training in all programs and filling in based on the schedule

Requirements

• 1 year of experience working in the field
• Ability to pass a MN DHS background study
• Every other weekend availability required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
• Working mobile phone to be reached during availability/scheduling window

$20.00–$21.00/hour depending on program worked at
