About the Role
Hospice Volunteers play a vital role within the hospice team, ranging from engagement of patients and families to clerical and office support. Volunteers have a natural desire for caring and provide support to patients and their families during difficult journeys. Volunteering can include one-on-one visits with patients and families or helping in the office to support nursing and care staff.
Volunteers describe their work as satisfying and emotionally enriching, while families describe them as a gift during their time of need.
