About the role
This is a Part-Time Flight Paramedic role responsible for transporting patients safely to and from medical facilities and scene call work.
Responsibilities
- Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly
- Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts
- Provide advanced life support care from initial contact until handover to medical facilities, maintaining thorough documentation
- Maintain competency through ongoing training and certifications
- Ensure equipment and supply maintenance, and adhere to safety standards
- Participate in pre-mission briefings, assist with aircraft safety checks, and support pilot activities as needed
- Fill open shifts within assigned areas as directed
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings is required, along with a current EMT-P license in the area.
Skills
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma; FP-C certification within 24 months
- Preferred instructor certifications and NREMT-P license
- Strong safety focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to function effectively as part of a team
