About the role
We are seeking a Flight Paramedic to safely transport patients via air, providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care.
Responsibilities
- Complete electronic patient care records
- Conduct daily base checks and maintain equipment
- Participate in pre- and post-mission procedures
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and ongoing training
- Ensure safety standards for personnel, patients, and equipment
- Collaborate with team members, EMS, and hospitals
- Assist in aircraft safety and mission briefings
- Fill open shifts as needed
Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care setting
- Current EMT-P license in the assigned area
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma
- Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months
Skills
- Preferred instructor certifications and NREMT-P certification
- Strong interpersonal, safety, and technical skills
