Flight Paramedic

About the role

We are seeking a Flight Paramedic to join a team dedicated to the safe air transportation of patients and scene call work. The role involves providing advanced life support from initial contact to handover at medical facilities, maintaining thorough documentation, and ensuring safety standards are met during all operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support in air medical transport and scene call settings.
• Complete electronic patient care records accurately and thoroughly.
• Perform daily equipment checks to ensure operational readiness.
• Participate in pre- and post-mission briefings.
• Assist with aircraft safety and checklist procedures.
• Fill open shifts as needed to support team operations.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in 911 or critical care settings.
• Current EMT-P (Paramedic) license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Flight Paramedic-Certification (FP-C) must be obtained within 24 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Instructor certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• NREMT-P certification.
