Flight Paramedic

About the Role

We are hiring a Flight Paramedic to join a team dedicated to safely transporting patients via air medical services. This role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and collaborative emergency care, with opportunities for ongoing training and shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly for each flight.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts.
• Provide advanced life support care from initial contact to patient transfer, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Maintain competency through ongoing training and certifications.
• Ensure equipment and supply familiarity and routine maintenance.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Participate in pre-mission briefings, mission debriefings, and assist with aircraft safety and operational checks.
• Fill open shifts as needed and adhere to safety standards for crew and patient safety.

Requirements

• At least three years' experience in 911 or critical care settings.
• Current EMT-P license and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and trauma certification.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) within 24 months of hire.
• Additional certifications like NREMT-P may be required based on location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior flight experience.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
