Flight Paramedic

About the Role

We are seeking a Flight Paramedic to join a team dedicated to providing safe and efficient air medical transportation and scene call work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts
• Provide advanced life support care from initial contact through transfer to medical facilities
• Maintain competency via ongoing training and documentation of licensure and certifications
• Ensure proper use and routine maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public
• Participate in pre-mission briefings, debriefings, and assist with aircraft safety and mission procedures
• Fill open shifts as needed

Requirements

• Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings
• Current EMT-P license in the area
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma
• Flight paramedic certification (FP-C) within 24 months
• Additional NREMT-P certification may be required depending on the area

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
