About the Role
We are seeking a Flight Paramedic to join a team dedicated to providing safe and efficient air medical transportation and scene call work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Complete and submit electronic patient care records promptly
- Perform daily base checks, including narcotic counts
- Provide advanced life support care from initial contact through transfer to medical facilities
- Maintain competency via ongoing training and documentation of licensure and certifications
- Ensure proper use and routine maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public
- Participate in pre-mission briefings, debriefings, and assist with aircraft safety and mission procedures
- Fill open shifts as needed
Requirements
- Minimum three years’ experience in 911 or critical care settings
- Current EMT-P license in the area
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma
- Flight paramedic certification (FP-C) within 24 months
- Additional NREMT-P certification may be required depending on the area
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior flight experience
- Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS
