FLEX Manager, Global Standards
About the Role
This is a project-based, fixed-term role within the Global Lodging Product Standards team, with an anticipated end date of December 31, 2026. The position supports the integration of Series by Marriott (Greater China-specific) into Marriott International’s global ecosystem. The role focuses on the development, implementation, and execution of brand, operational, and non-operational standards to ensure alignment with Marriott’s enterprise frameworks, processes, and brand expectations. The Flex Manager partners with diverse disciplines across the organization and provides technical expertise to stakeholders.
As part of the Global Lodging Product Standards Team, this role ensures correct and timely data collection, interpretation, and entry in proprietary systems, acts as a key point of communication between stakeholders, and drives on-time completion of deliverables.
Responsibilities

- Act as a key point of communication between all stakeholders to ensure on-time completion of deliverables.
- Monitor partner and customer satisfaction; anticipate and respond to feedback.
- Use effective communication strategies to build and maintain relationships.
- Model and coach the team on the scope of decision-making authority and ensure clear leadership accountabilities.
- Promote inclusion and engagement; identify and report concerns related to equity and fair treatment.
- Demonstrate courage, flexibility, and optimism when managing multiple demands or changing priorities; communicate the need for change and its impact on work.
- Determine how change impacts stakeholders and communicate concerns to leadership.
Requirements
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related major and 3+ years of relevant professional experience demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance; OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of relevant professional experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance.

Pay
$35.09–$60.09 per hour

Full-time, hybrid (for candidates within commuting distance to Bethesda, MD; remote for candidates outside commuting distance).
