Fleet Support Specialist

About the role

HireArt is assisting an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company in hiring a Fleet Support Specialist to support scheduling, metrics, documentation, and dashboard updates for its vehicle fleet.

Responsibilities

• Work with the scheduling team to book repairs on vehicles and monitor/update fleet health.
• Perform quality inspection of repair orders by reviewing open vehicle issues and generating actions.
• Maintain accurate record keeping and historical vehicle health/repair data.
• Identify and support the development of technical documentation.
• Support the development of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
• Close the loop on repair feedback to drive product improvements.
• Provide assistance to the PMs with meeting high-level targets.
• Aid in ordering parts, ensuring their availability for repairs.
• Work alongside technicians, technician leads, engineers, and other cross-functional team members in the repair shop.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a rapid-paced service environment.
• Familiarity with automotive repair processes/fundamentals.
• Willingness to travel as needed, 50% of the time.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Comply with the Substance Abuse Policy.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean/excellent driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Jira/Confluence.
• Familiarity with MS Office/Google Suites.
• Exposure/experience in an automotive service environment.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deliverables.
• Rapid communication and response experience via multiple modes of communication.

Full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. Available to candidates local to the Austin, TX area.
