Fleet Software & Controls Engineering Lead
Fleet Operations Software
Lead services for dispatch, state-of-charge, market participation, customer bill optimization, demand charge management, resilience, and decision-making.
Operator Applications
Own tools for operators (control panels, dashboards, alerts, workflow tools, exception handling).
Event-Driven Services
Design and operate service layer for telemetry, commands, events, building for reliability and observability.
Controls-Adjacent Software
Develop fluency in software decisions affecting physical asset behavior and economic outcomes.
Economic Decisioning Workflows
Build software for charge/discharge decisions, market participation, demand charge reduction, resilience.
Commissioning & Configuration Workflows
Reduce manual steps in asset onboarding, testing, readiness.
Software Agents
Build and govern agents for code review, testing, documentation, commissioning, operator support.
People & Agent Orchestration
Build and lead software engineering function; define how engineers and agents collaborate.
Success Milestones
- First 90 days: Understand current fleet software; own a defined improvement; document key system flows; identify agent-assisted opportunities.
- First 6 months: Take ownership of selected services/apps; improve dispatch usability/reliability; reduce manual steps; deploy/improve agents.
