Tech Lead Software Engineer, Fleet Connectivity
About the role
As the Technical Lead for Fleet Connectivity, you will define and build the highly resilient foundation for two-way communication between Nuro’s autonomous fleets and the cloud. You will take ownership of the networking infrastructure, telemetry, and routing that manage critical data flow at scale across our current and next-generation platforms.
Your technical leadership will drive the architecture of fault-tolerant software across both cellular and Wi-Fi networks. A significant part of this role involves evaluating new connectivity hardware modules and working intimately with modems and commercial cellular networks to maximize throughput and stability.
By leveraging advanced cellular bonding technologies, you will deliver the robust networking backbone required to support critical capabilities such as seamless Vehicle APIs, high-bandwidth in-depot connections, continuous telemetry, and low-latency data streaming for remote assistance.
About the work
